About Xenmint Photography
In Shakespeare's 'A Winter's Tale', Autolycus describes himself as 'a snapper-up of unconsidered trifles'. I love that as a description of my work: looking for inspiring, poetic, poignant or simply beautiful images from things otherwise overlooked or cast aside. When I have an image to develop, I wait to uncover what it has to say, being led by what is revealed, rather than setting out with a specific aim in mind. I hope the end result uplifts from its humble origins, just as we try to lift ourselves up from our unpromising beginnings - a chemical soup on a fiery rock, hurtling through the infinity of space... You can find more of my work at www.xenmint.com, or on Instagram as @xenmint. I'd love to hear from you.
